There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of active military and military veterans who call the city of Rancho Cucamonga home.
To say thank you to these men and women, the community built and dedicated the Freedom Courtyard at Central Park.
Located at the heart of the city, the courtyards unique design allows for groups of any size to gather in quiet reflection and honor those who are serving, have served and will serve as apart of the nations armed forces.
The concept behind the courtyard revolves around one element recognizing all branches of service – allowing visitors to honor the military as a whole or center in on one specific branch.
“I think it’s important to recognize all the different branches because of the dedication of each one of those branches and what it’s done for our country,” explained George Wiens with WLC Architects.
