Actress Chloë Grace Moretz has done a lot in her 19 years.
She has modeled for publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, and Elle. She has starred in several films, including Hugo, If I Stay and the remake of Stephen King’s Carrie and is getting ready to go “under the sea” as Arielle in Disney’s live-action version of The Little Mermaid.
Something Moretz hasn’t been able to do, however, is vote. She can’t wait to cast her ballot November 8th, and she wants to make sure other people her age do the same.
Moretz recently visited several colleges across the U.S. to encourage students to register to vote. Although she is a Hillary Clinton supporter, she stressed the importance of actively researching the candidates and issues.
“I think voting in general is really important. It is our biggest rights as citizens of the United States of America. If we don’t take advantage of this and get the youth vote out there, I think we’re really working in the regression of America,” Moretz said.
California Life’s Jason Rzucidlo caught up with Moretz during one of her stops in Michigan.
