Looking for an unforgettable culinary experience that celebrates the heart and soul of Santa Barbara’s food heritage? Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 13, 2024, when La Paloma Cafe hosts a special collaboration dinner featuring Executive Chef Jeremy Tummel and local icon Elizabeth Poett, alongside the renowned Frequency Wine Company. This one-night event promises to immerse guests in the region’s unique flavors with a four-course meal inspired by recipes from Elizabeth Poett’s celebrated work, The Ranch Table.
Elizabeth Poett, a seventh-generation cattle rancher and the host of Magnolia Network’s Ranch to Table, has deep roots in California’s Central Coast. Growing up on her family’s 14,000-acre Rancho San Julian, Elizabeth has long been dedicated to preserving and showcasing the ranch’s traditions. Her business, Rancho San Julian Beef, launched in 2007, supplies grass-fed beef directly to chefs and consumers and has become a favorite among California’s food community. Alongside writing her popular blog, The Ranch Table, she hosts various events that blend cooking, education, and intimate farm-to-table experiences.
Chef Jeremy Tummel, known for his masterful embrace of local ingredients, will craft a menu that brings Elizabeth’s ranch recipes to life. Each course is designed to highlight the bounty of Santa Barbara, showcasing the region’s natural produce and the unparalleled quality of Rancho San Julian Beef. To elevate the dining experience, each dish will be paired with wines from Frequency Wine Company. Founded by Zac Wasserman, Frequency embodies Santa Barbara County’s unique terroir, with wines that resonate with the region’s natural rhythms and Zac’s commitment to thoughtful sourcing.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet Elizabeth Poett, who will be available for book signings of The Ranch Table—a perfect chance to pick up a holiday gift for the food lover in your life!
