BagelFest 2025: A Celebration of Flavor, Craft, and Community

Bagel lovers from around the world are in for an unforgettable experience at BagelFest 2025, returning to Citi Field on Sunday, November 16. Guests can enjoy unlimited tastings from 25 standout shops representing the best in bagel-making today. Local icons like Utopia Bagels and Ess-a-Bagel share the spotlight with Town Bagel (Plainview, LI) and Fantzye Bagels (Kingston, NY). International favorites such as St-Viateur Bagel (Montreal), Si Si Bagels (Madrid), and Tali’s Bagels (Honolulu) bring global flair, while rising U.S. stars like Tilly Bagel Shop (Chicago) and Flour Moon Bagels (New Orleans) add fresh creativity. This year also welcomes Modern Bread & Bagel, a world-renowned gluten-free bakery, ensuring everyone can join the celebration.

Complementing these bakeries are leading food brands enhancing the experience—Acme Smoked Fish, Brooklyn Seltzer Museum, Mike’s Hot Honey, and Peter Pan Donut—making BagelFest a foodie’s playground of flavor and discovery.

Raising the Stakes

Competition takes center stage with awards for Best Bagel, Best Sandwich, Best Schmear, Most Creative, and Best Newcomer. Attendees vote for the People’s Choice Award, while judges select the top honors. New this year: subcategories for Best New York Style, Best Sourdough, and Best Montreal Style Bagel, celebrating regional traditions. Returning champions like Utopia Bagels and Starship Bagel (Dallas) will defend their titles against a strong new field.

Beyond the Bagels

The excitement extends beyond the tasting floor. The World Bagel Rolling Championship returns, thrilling crowds as bakers race to hand-roll record-breaking numbers of bagels in under a minute. Industry professionals can also join workshops, panels, and networking mixers, making BagelFest both a celebration and a business hub.

Introducing the BagelFest Growth Lab—an incubator where emerging bagel makers showcase their creations to industry leaders, receiving feedback, mentorship, and connections to help their businesses rise.
