Furniture designer Sam Maloof is recognized as one of the finest woodworkers of our time. He was the oldest artist to have his work in the Smithsonian, and his home and workshop are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
They now serve as a living museum located in Alta Loma. 
California Life was fortunate to do one of the last interviews with Maloof before his death in 2009 at the age of 93.
