This week on California Life, we take you to Redlands. The San Bernardino County city is located about 60 miles northeast of Los Angeles, and 45 miles west of Palm Springs.
Redlands was founded in 1881, and for much of its history, was known as the “Washington Navel Orange Growing Capital of the World.”
Popular landmarks include Kimberly Crest House and Gardens, Asistencia Mission and Morey Mansion. And no visit to Redlands would be complete without a trip down State Street.
June is a great time to take a trip to Redlands, because the city will host a number of events. This Friday, June 12, is the “Surfin’ State Street Car Cruise” and Saturday, June 13, is “Broadway & Brunch” at the Mission Gables house.
