We had a fantastic time at the exclusive grand opening of Haven Farm + Table at Fox Point Farms! On Monday, September 16th, the Encinitas community gathered to celebrate this vibrant new ‘agrihood,’ and it was truly a night to remember.

Guests mingled under the early evening sky, enjoying delicious bites and beverages made with ingredients harvested just steps away from the venue. The farm-to-table experience was in full bloom, with fresh, seasonal flavors that left everyone craving more. The atmosphere was lively with live music, artisan-led demonstrations, and guided farm tours that gave attendees an inside look at what makes this place so special.

A resilient model for sustainable living, Fox Point Farms is a first-of-its-kind ‘agrihood,’ where a regenerative organic farm is the heartbeat of a21-acre mixed-use community. It features a zero-kilometer full-service restaurant, a farm-to-tap organic brewery and coffee roaster, a farm market and café, an apothecary, wellness classes, and more—all helmed by a team of next-gen farmers, chefs, and artisans who prosper within a circular micro-economy. At Haven—led by Culinary Director Alex Carballo, Chef de Cuisine Kelston Moore, and General Manager/Beverage Director Ricardo Zarate Jr— diners are immersed in the origin of their meal as soon as they step foot onsite. Chefs and farmers take a radically holistic approach to crafting seasonal fare that honors and celebrates the farm’s abundance of offerings.
