“Comfort food” no longer has to mean “fattening.”
According to a recent survey commissioned by California-based Foster Farms, consumers are moving away from traditional comfort foods in favor of meals that are healthy, locally sourced and easy to prepare.
“Chopped” champion and James Beard Award-nominated Chef Dean Rucker teamed-up with Foster Farms to create some easy, tasty recipes that embrace this concept of “The New Comfort Food.”
