With the the annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance right around the corner, California Life takes a look inside the world’s premiere automobile celebration.
The Concours, located on Pebble Beach and the Monterey Peninsula, is a must-see event for car lovers across the globe. The festivities began in 1950 with only a few dozen cars and today, the event boasts over 200 of the world’s most prized collector automobiles. These cars come together every year to drive 17 awe-inspiring miles, displaying their elegance and history.
In 2016 alone, the event raised over $1.7 million for charity – bringing the grand total raised to over $23 million since the Concours began in 1950.
This year, the festivities begin on Tuesday, August 18th and continue through Sunday, August 20th.
