Just in time for Halloween, Disney California Adventure brings back Guardians of the Galaxy- Monsters After Dark.
This additional spooky attraction to the already ever so popular ride will only be available to park visitors only during Halloween time, starting September 6 through October 31. Joe Rohde, the creative executive for Walt Disney Imagineering, calls this version of the ride “creepy, chaotic and very funny.”
When entering the lobby of the Fortress, there are creepy sounds all around and flashing alarms to follow, warning everyone that creatures have escaped and chaos has begun. The Collector’s assistant, Apheta tries to reassure everyone that all is fine and that this is just a minor setback. Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark counites its mission as Rocket realizes that in the rush to free his friends from the Collector’s Fortress, he accidentally left baby Groot behind. With our help, Rocket needs to distract all the monsters he let loose inside while he rescues Groot.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark is only available during Halloween Time at the Disney California Adventure Resort.
