Nicknamed “America’s Meteorologist,” The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore is one of the most recognizable faces in weather.
So, he knows a thing or two about the changing of seasons. Even in those areas of California where the changes are subtle, Cantore said it is important to be prepared, especially when it comes to your car.
“Make sure just like your fire alarm, your car’s ready, too,” Cantore said. “People tend to take long trips – it’s Thanksgiving, it’s Christmas, there’s holidays. People like to travel with friends and family and go places that tend to be a little farther drive.”
To get your car ready to weather the winter, Cantore said you should remember the “Three Bs” – brakes, battery and blades.
