We all know that stress is bad for us. It messes up our sleep, destroys our diet and can contribute to a number of health problems, including high blood pressure and heart disease.
Stress can also do a number on our skin, causing rashes, breakouts and even fever blisters.
To combat the effects of stress, the folks at WebMD recommend you get regular exercise, get seven- to- eight hours of sleep each night and say “no.”
Kiehl’s also offers products geared at addressing both the short-term visible signs and long- term premature aging effect that stress can have on skin. The Skin Rescuer contains Rosa Gallica Botanical Extract to help minimize skin’s visible response to stress.
