Our very own Kaori Takee heads to Six Flags Magic Mountain to check out the new West Coast Customs roller coaster, where you go head-to-head against other riders!

Six Flags Magic Mountain has teamed up with West Coast Customs to create a ride where you race against the car right next to you. This is a racing coaster, you’re low the ground, to have a street feel to it. This is the first single track, quadruple launch racing coaster ever built. Six Flags Magic Mountain has 19 attractions so they really wanted to create something different than what they have.
This is a unique ride in itself and that’s what really drove them to the decision. It features 14 track crossovers for total inversions and a side-by-side airtime, add up to 55 miles per hour. West Coast Riders coaster is made for speed.
