Many people like to travel to the great outdoors, but just in case you can not get out there right now, the lovingly crafted movie The Dark Divide brings you closer to mother nature. David Cross stars in The Dark Divide as butterfly expert Robert Pyle who pushes himself to the limit by hiking through Washington’s Gifford Pinchot National Forest. While on this incredible journey, Bob is also mourning the loss of his wife, finding reminders of her along the trail. Set in the 1990’s he discovers that living in the wild is well, dangerous. Tom Putnam and David Cross discuss with Alesia Stanford the challenges of this project and how filming it helped them make discoveries about themselves. Demonstrating how vulnerable both humans and the world around us are, this film is a must-watch.
