Heather Dawson hits the red carpet at the 31st Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival to find out why celebrities love Palm Springs.

It was a star-studded event where some of the biggest names of the award season walked the red carped, like Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Jamie Foxx, Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas to name a few.

Charlize Theron is excited for the first awards event of the year and looks back to the many times she’s been here and had fun.

Jennifer Lopez calls it a “Legendary Film Festival,” and is in attendance for the film she not only acted in, but produced as well, the crime drama ‘Hustlers.’ Jennifer Lopez looked all kinds of emotional as she received the Spotlight Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival Gala awards yesterday.
