Perris began to take form as a city in the late 1800s when a train stop was built for the California Southern Railroad. But now, Perris is known for something a little bit different. Perris Valley is the Mecca of skydiving.
For about $200 you can take the ride of your life. First timers usually do a tandem jump, where you’re strapped to your instructor. And in the name of journalism, Tom Sparks takes his first skydive ever.
After a 10 minute crash course, we’re ready to head out. Tom takes the leap, and even pulls the parachute on his jump. In 1 hour and a half Tom learned to skydive, and jumped out of a plane. You can to, simply visit Skydive Perris.
