Paso Robles is known for its sprawling wine country.
But what you may not know, is there is also a bustling downtown area, packed with one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants and tasting rooms.

California Life visited LXV Tasting Room, and discovered a unique wine tasting experience, using spices. For instance, its cabernets are paired with an Indian spice mix, featuring cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper. Owner Neeta Mittal says the spices help to “unlock” the flavors in the wine.
Another flavorful spot we had the pleasure of visiting was Vivant Fine Cheese. The Central Coast’s premier cheese tasting room, features premium, local and imported, handcrafted artisan cheeses paired with the finest Central Coast wine and beer.
While in Downtown Paso, we also stopped by the General Store, which offers a large selection of local cheeses and salamis, nuts, crackers and other goodies as well as household items.
These are just a few of the many great places we discovered in Downtown Paso Robles. To see more, click on our story below!
