| The Imagen Foundation announced today that acclaimed actor, filmmaker, producer, and musician Andy Garcia will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 41st Annual Imagen Awards, to be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Over 33 awards will be given out that night. One of Hollywood’s most respected and enduring artists, Garcia has built an extraordinary career defined by iconic performances, acclaimed filmmaking, and a lifelong commitment to authentic Latino representation in entertainment. From his Academy Award®-nominated performance in The Godfather: Part III to his celebrated work as a writer, director, producer, and musician, Garcia has consistently elevated Latino voices both in front of and behind the camera.Most recently, Garcia premiered his latest feature film, “Diamond,” which he wrote, directed, and stars in, at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, where it received a nine-minute standing ovation.
