Each charter with IYC is carefully crafted for each individual’s wishes, and if you’re looking for an action-packed adventure, a relaxing few days with beautiful scenery and stunning diving sites – or a mix of all three, a bespoke charter journey will be an unforgettable vacation.

IYC has also partnered with a premium private jet company,  Magellan Jets and White Desert to offer guests the trip of a lifetime to the bottom of the Earth, the South Pole, by way of Antarctica to see the Emperor Penguins.

We have selected our top locations across the globe where you will experience adventure activities among stunning natural scenery. If you’re looking for your next trip with friends and family, a charter to these destinations will create memories that you will treasure forever.

Alaska

There is no better way to enjoy the stunning scenery of Alaska than on board a luxury superyacht. With breathtaking views and unbelievable natural beauty, your days will be spent whale watching, salmon fishing, hiking, exploring icebergs and glaciers.

Discover Mendenhall Glacier via helicopter for a once-in-a-lifetime journey in the sky or experience the stunning Alaskan landscape on a dog sledding excursion. Jump on a tender to go iceberg calving, where you will navigate through large icebergs and witness the changing shape of these natural wonders. Visit the Tongass National Forest, a huge expanse of over 17 million acres of spruce and hemlock trees. Here, you can observe the local wildlife of brown bears, Sitka black-tailed deer, migratory waterfowl and shorebirds. If you’re lucky, you will be able to sit in the remote bay to watch migrating humpback whales, and also spend the day fishing for halibut and salmon.

A trip to Alaska isn’t complete without a visit to Red Bluff Bay. Here, you can explore mountains, waterfalls and glistening ice fields that produce one of the most scenic landscapes along South East Alaska’s Inside Passage. Guests can kayak into the spray of beautiful waterfalls and get close to wild bears fishing for salmon.

The South Pacific

Lying halfway between Australia and California – in the middle of the Pacific Ocean – are the islands of Tahiti. This region’s clear blue waters are renowned for coral reefs stocked with all manner of spectacular marine life, often found just a few meters from the shore. For the more adventurous divers, the deeper waters of the Society Islands are teeming with whales, dolphins and rays.West of the islands of Tahiti lies Fiji, a beautiful archipelago of over 300 islands waiting to be explored. The home of volcanic hot springs, and beautiful coral reefs, the natural beauty of Fiji will leave you speechless. Take a guided hike through the rainforest, zipline over waterfalls and experience white-water rafting on the famous Upper Navua River.

The Red Sea

Superyacht guests will find some of the finest diving in the world in the Red Sea. With over 2000 kilometers of thriving reefs stretching along its coastline, this region is home to a rich and biodiverse ecosystem, with over a thousand species of fish living in its breathtaking coral reefs.  Divers will spend their days swimming in its iconic blue waters and will encounter rays, octopus and turtles. Between the Suez Canal and the Gulf of Aden, the area’s blue holes, atolls and lagoons are home to numerous shipwrecks and dive spots. For advanced divers, the wreck of the SS Thistlegorm is a must-see. A British ship sunk by enemy fire in 1941, this wreck is incredibly well-preserved and packed with vehicles, ammunition and equipment that has remained untouched for decades.

Antarctica and The South Pole with White Desert

This luxury 8-night adventure takes 12 guests at a time into the heart of Antarctica to see the Emperor Penguins. Then it’s off to the bottom of the Earth – the South Pole! After the trials and confinement of Covid-19, there can be no better place than Antarctica to escape, reflect, and reignite your passion to explore. With limited group size, strict bio-security measures and the naturally inert landscape, Antarctica is one of the safest places to visit in 2020 and beyond.

IYC has teamed up with the premier private aviation company, Magellan Jets, to offer the safest, most purely private way to travel. Magellan Jets will fly guests to Cape Town, where they will spend the night at One & Only prior to departing for Antarctica with White Desert on a plane equipped with the latest avionics and ski-equipped for landing on snow.

In Antarctica, guests will stay in state-of-the-art sleeping pods at Whichaway Camp where their experienced team of chefs, hosts and guides will take care of every detail, allowing you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. At the beginning of the adventure, guests fly 2 hours along the coast to an emperor penguin colony of over 14,000 breeding pairs and their newly hatched chicks. Tourists only rarely visit this colony and, as a consequence, witnessing these birds in their natural habitat is one of the most surreal experiences on earth.

As you fly from Antarctica to the South Pole, you will experience a true sense of remoteness, for as far as the eye can see, the white horizon meets the pure blue sky. The South Pole, the bottom of the earth and the holy grail of early explorers. At the designated marker there is no more east, south or west on the planet, only north, and you will be able to walk around the world in just a few paces!

Then you will fly back to their wilderness camp at 83ºS to overnight and join the select few who have ever spent a night in the beauty of the high polar plateau. You will be well looked after as you experience camping in one of the wildest places on earth.

After a night spent as a true explorer, you will fly back to the main camp and celebrate your momentous journey. With up to only 12 clients on each adventure and professional polar explorers as your guides, the day’s itineraries are tailored to each individual. Make your choice from gentle treks and picnics overlooking the ice waves, to more adrenaline-fueled activities.

With 13 offices in 9 countries, charter and sales consultants around the world, and a 24/7 support network, Magellan Jets and IYC will assist you in selecting the perfect jet and yacht for your next adventure, wherever it may be.
