It’s hard to believe, but we are now just a couple weeks away from the anticipated start of skiing and snowboarding season in Southern California.
This week, Mountain High Resort, the first resort to open in Southern California for the past 19 years, fired up its snow machines for pre-season testing (check out the video below!) The high-powered snowmaking system can cover 80 percent of the resort’s terrain with machine-made snow.
Mountain High is Southern California’s closest winter resort, located just 90 minutes from Los Angeles and Orange County. It consists of three separate mountains: West Resort, East Resort and North Resort. Mountain High offers a wide variety of lifts and trails, a world-class terrain park, an outstanding winter sports school and the region’s largest tubing area. Night skiing and snowboarding are available seven nights-a-week during peak season.
