Plug In South LA is Hiring!

We’re looking for junior level Social Media Coordinator to join our team to help tell amazing stories about the exciting work happening in underserved & overlooked communities in the tech innovation space.
 
Responsibilities include:
– Liaison with our program manager to create content via our blog and newsletter that helps rally LA’s tech ecosystem in South Los Angeles. 
– Develop content ideas into short stories that support the work of our programs and aligns with the mission of our organization. 
– Manage and support social media, blogs, newsletter and content streams across the main site, FB, Instagram and Twitter.  
Requirements:
– Savvy and technical with excellent writing skills
– Must know: WordPress, Mailchimp, Word, Google Drive, Trello Interest in Tech and Digital Media is a plus
– Passionate About Brown and Black Tech Communities Professional demeanor is essential.
