Hydraulic Fracture Simulation, better known as ‘fracking,’ is a method newly used to gain access to natural gas. Although highly efficient and considered the key to America’s energy independence, fracking is also met with blowback. Its effect on underground water aquifers is widely debated as being detrimental to the health of surrounding communities. Although clean energy is better for the environment, it is not sufficient to power the country at the time. Our host Holly sits down with two energy specialists, each having differing opinions to fill in each other’s counter arguments.
