As the year comes to an end, we take a look at the most popular baby names of 2019. Sophia tops the list of girls’ names again. Liam takes the top spot for boys’ names, beating out last year’s Jackson.
Rising on the list this year are Arabic names Muhammad and Aaliyah, which entered the top 10 and knocked out Mason and Layla. The hottest name seems to be Isla, which climbed 38 spots from 2018 .
