Will Smith, Disney, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation have joined forces to create the #FriendLikeMe challenge. The worldwide challenge asks people to publicly post their answer to the question– if you were the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin and had the chance to grant 3 wishes for someone, who would you share them with? Everyone has until May 24, 2019 (the release date of Aladdin) to tag a friend on Twitter and/or Instagram to answer the question with the hashtag #FriendLikeMe. For every public post from April 29 to May 24, Disney will donate $5 up to $1 million to Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes to children battling critical illnesses. Learn more about the challenge at FriendLikeMe.org.
Both Disney and Will Smith have been passionate wish granters at Make-A-Wish Foundation. The actor and company are using the platform of the new movie coming out, Aladdin, to raise awareness for the foundation that helps wish kids experience moments of excitement and joy. When there’s a wish, there’s a way. Complete the #FriendLikeMe challenge to support a life-changing cause and watch Aladdin in theatres May 24th!
