From puberty, to pregnancy and menopause, a woman’s body goes through a lot in a lifetime. That’s why California Life talks with gynecologist and author, Dr. Alyssa Dweck, about how women can improve their health of their ever-changing bodies.
“In their 30’s, women may be planning on families, the prevention of pregnancy, hormonal changes, exercise and nutrition,” Dr. Dweck explained.
But these changes can also lead to health problems such as infections – the most common being yeast infections.
When experiencing symptoms related to yeast infections such as irritated skin, itching and discharge, it’s vital that women make a trip to the doctor to determine the cause.
If the issues are a result of a yeast infection, Dr. Dweck recommends using an over-the-counter remedy known as Monistat that relieves symptoms four times faster than the leading brand.
