To accompany a selection of fine infusions, sweet and savor bites include Neapolitan Pastiera, lemon cake, scones with butter and local anchovies, and Gragnano panuozzo – a traditional product of Campania.
From Friday December 6 to Sunday December 8, the hotel’s historic cloister comes alive with a charming Christmas market featuring delicacies and delights from Amalfi’s artisans – the perfect opportunity to find unique gifts, indulge in festive treats and sip warm mulled wine.
Connecting the hotel’s history as a Capuchin convent, an Amaro masterclass led by Anantara Insider and Franciscan friar Marcus offers guests the chance to explore flavor and culture. As a selection of four Italian amaro liqueurs are served – each paired with a canape prepared by Chef Claudio Lanuto – Friar Marcus shares the stories of the monks who brewed medicinal liquor with healing properties from the herbs grown in the grounds that surround the hotel.
